To make the most of our time together, it helps to bring any documents related to your situation—like a copy of any existing court orders, financial records, and a list of your questions or concerns. If you’re facing divorce, documents like pay stubs, recent tax returns, and a basic list of assets and debts can also be helpful. Don’t worry if you don’t have everything yet—just come as you are, and we’ll take it from there.

Filing for divorce requires a 60-day waiting period that starts the day we file your petition. If your case is truly uncontested and agreed, your divorce will be final within a few days after the waiting period. If your divorce is complex or starts out contested, it may take months or even over a year to finalize. We'll keep you informed of every step along the way
